Not made these myself yet but had them at a friend’s house and they are yummy! Apparently you could include maple syrup and raisins in the batter too, yum yum! We ate these with maple syrup and golden syrup.
1 beaten egg
150ml natural yoghurt
150g sr flour
1/4 tsp salt (or 2 tbsp maple syrup)
Oil to fry
Mix together the egg and yoghurt
Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix until you have a smooth batter
Drop heaped tablespoons of batter into the heated oil in a pan, cook for 1-2 mins on each side
Enjoy for breakfast or lunch
