Stuffing

A couple of weeks ago we needed stuffing for a roast for guests… Looked at the packet stuff but it was £1 and I was already over budget so decided to make my own with freezer ingredients. I should point out that this option was way more expensive, but much more delicious, and had the advantage of using stuff up, whoop.
Here’s what I did this time, but you could vary this loads as clearly ou wouldn’t have the same stuff. First set of ingredients is what I’d always include.

8 sausages
2 slices bread, whizzed into breadcrumbs
2 apples, grated (by food processor)
1 onion (I whiled it in processor for Chris)

Half a packet of chestnuts, leftover
Appropriate seasonings

I nearly added half a pack of prunes I had left over, but decided to use them next time instead, in case didn’t have an apple. This is very nice, and if you use this stuff generally, very cheap

We made t the night before and then just spread it out n a lined baking sheet to bake
