Homemade pot noodle

Another great recipe from good food. Very low calorie (magazine gives it 114, but I reckon realistically more like 150) and extremely filling. Don’t go too mad with the flavourings, I made mine a bit too hot. I pre-cooked the noodles, but reckon you could cook them in the pan to save using too many pans. I’ve cut the recipe down to serve one, as strikes me as something to cook by yourself!

250ml chicken stock (used 1 cube)
1 tsp cornflour (didn’t read this… It would have helped but not essential)
1/2 tbsp soy sauce (didn’t measure any of this except the stock and noodles)
1 tsp sweet chilli sauce
1/4 tsp five spice (this was what I used too much of)
125g raw noodles (half a nest of the sharwoods ones)
25g frozen peas or sweetcorn

Cook the noodles according to the packet
Heat the stock in a saucepan and add all the flavourings
When the noodles are cooked add them to the stock along with the peas and cook for 3 mins
Serve in a (large!) mug, with extra chilli sauce on top if you like (I didn’t)
